Bill Cosby charged with sexual assault

Bill Cosby has been charged with the sexual assault of Andrea Constand, arraigned and released on a one million dollar bail December 30, 2015. Constand states Cosby gave her Quaaludes and wine, then sexually assaulted her in 2004.

Early in 2015, I wrote, "Saturn squared Neptune for the first time late January-early February 2015 at 4-6 degrees but it did not become exact. For a moment we got a feel of what this transit would/could bring. The person that stood out to me at that time was TV personality Bill Cosby.  During this period many woman came forward accusing him of rape that goes back many years."

"Cosby has a Venus at 4 degrees of Gemini, so Saturn opposed his Venus during the first few months of 2015, and Neptune squared it. As this transit fell directly on his Venus, (women and money) news from his past (Saturn), or alleged news (the rapes are not proven) continued to multiply along with the number of women stepping forward with allegations. Prior to early 2015 as Neptune squared his Venus there were women who accused him of the same crimes, but it took Saturn (and numerous other women) to hammer the point, so to speak. As Saturn and Neptune fell on his Venus he has lost a great deal of money in endorsements, and his reputation was ruined, along with his career. Saturn and Neptune in combination have a funny way of bringing up past misdeeds. As we approach the end of the year I look for more news concerning Cosby to come to light. I can say with certainty this TV icon will never be viewed in the same light as he was in the past. This is just one example of the way this transit can bring change, but this is an extreme example, he is a known public figure and this is not the only transit in his chart."

On the last day of 2015 the above prediction occurred as Cosby was officially arraigned and released.

Cosby has a 20 degree Aries ascendant and his Moon-Neptune conjunction in Virgo falls in his 6th house of work. As the Moon rules women Saturn is square his Moon at 11 degrees, and will square Neptune at 16 degrees in March of 2016. Saturn-Moon is a negative and depressing transit and typically relates to women.

May-June will be another important period as the T-square between Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune will fall on Cosby's Moon. There could be a trial during this time, or will hear more news.

As far as I can tell no trial date has been published at this time.

In early 2016, the Uranus-Pluto square will aspect his Sun (Feb.-March) bringing more news. This will likely open Pandora's box with more accusers filing suits, some of the likely civil as the statute of limitations has run out on many of the alleged rapes.

2016 will be a difficult year for Cosby and it appears legal battles could go on for the next 4 years, even as Saturn moves into Capricorn in 2018. He could also experience health problems as a result of the stress or other issues.

It is also very possible he could serve time in Jail.

Uranus squares Pluto January-February 2016: The end, finiš, it's over

Uranus squares Pluto the final time January-February 2016, and the two major planets come within a 1 degree orb of being exact in Aries/Capricorn. I have been writing about this powerful square since 2010, when Uranus entered Aries and this major period of change began.

 

The result has been like the clash of the titans between these two outer planets and we have seen major upheaval in the world, and this has been the most significant transit of the generation we have lived through, and we will continue to see more upheaval in the world resulting in continued evolutionary change in the circumstances of the world and in our personal lives as well.

 

As this transit comes together again the first two months of 2016, expect to see just has much change and upheaval as past years, and while this is the final hit of these planets, the results will play out for months and even years to come. So while this is the final pass, it's not over until the planets separate by at least 8-10 degrees, but we will move into a new era, and be able to discern exactly how radical the changes have been. The cycle will continue for some time, although as the planets separate for the final time the energy will lessen month by month. Uranus and Pluto have an orb of at least 8 degrees which puts us into June 2016, and even then results of this period will continue to play out in the world.

 

This is one of the ten major planetary cycles, which changes the world on many different levels, and creates upheaval and political, economic and geographic turmoil.

 

The last time Uranus and Pluto came into hard aspect was the mid-1960's, when they came together in a conjunction in Virgo. The 'natural health,' generation was born, along with the escalation of the Vietnam War, the Civil rights movement, the equal rights movement, divorce came into vogue, plans to build the World Trade center were announced, Medicare was passed, college campuses were a melting pot for youthful activists, the Civil rights act passed and LBJ declared war on poverty, and the world changed and became much different from the past. So shall it be again.

 

In the mid-1930's Uranus in Cancer squared Pluto in Aries. It was the height of the Great Depression, unemployment and the rise of dictators and extremism that would led to WW11. Hitler rose to power in 1933 and the first concentration camp was established, FDR launched the "New Deal,' Kind Edward Vlll renounced the throne for the woman he loved, and race relations in the US were tense. Prohibition ended in the US, and an ecological disaster called the 'dust bowl,' emerged, and the Spanish Civil war began.

 

 

These are only some of the events that occurred during these previous periods, and you can see that it shakes up the world, fuels discontent and extremism, and the personal lives of many individuals are changed as well, especially if this powerful transit aspects your personal chart.

 

 

Pluto rules power, the media, and ruthlessness, and Uranus inventions, aircraft, technology and the internet. In the 1930's Hitler became the first political leader to take to the air, spreading his propaganda across Germany and utilizing the media to his advantage.

 

 

In our current time we have seen the rise of ISIS, and their manipulation of social media as a recruiting tool, and to spread graphic images of terror. The large scale changes in our world began with Arab Spring, a direct result of Uranus entering Aries and its square to Pluto.

 

 

Hitler cemented his power during the last square of these powerful planets and it took many years to defeat him. During this square ISIS cemented their power with the formation of a caliphate that occurred June 29, 2014.

 

Like Hitler, ISIS has made use of current technologies, and like Hitler they are not going to disappear overnight.

 

The Uranus-Pluto square has been and will continue to usher in extremism of all kinds beyond ISIS. There has been a rise of the radical right over the past number of years in both Europe and the US. The world is polarized.

 

During the 1930's there was a mass exodus of refugees fleeing Hitler's Germany, and once again 2015 saw a similar situation with the Syrian refugees. It is estimated there are over 50 million refugees and the numbers are rising.

 

Some people believe the 2016 Presidential race is extreme in terms of both politics, and those individuals running on the Republican ticket. We are living in a much divided America and this will only become more polarized (like the 1930's and 1960's) as we move through the first quarter of the new year.

 

January 2016 is a pivotal month, (much like March 2015) and in many respects will be a difficult month in the world and in our lives, as the Uranus-Pluto square is set off by the Sun, (January 4-8), the new moon (January 10) and then retrograde Mercury (January 21-31), and later Venus ( February 6-7). Expect these dates, and the days surrounding them to be significant in the world and your life if it aspects your personal chart.

 

We are in fact dealing with two major squares to further complicate matters: the Uranus-Pluto square, and the Saturn-Neptune square, which both clouds the issues and gives us an opportunity to see that certain efforts have not worked out and we have to find a new path. Saturn and Neptune were in an exact square in November when we saw another terrorist attack in Paris, and the world became much more aware that ISIS was a terrorist group that will have to be contended with.

 

Many events will occur again as Uranus and Pluto come together for the final square shaking up our world and personal lives again.

 

This transit will aspect your chart if you are a 14-18 degree Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn or have planets in your natal chart at these degrees in a Cardinal sign. Many changes can occur at this time that can include endings of all types, or beginnings, new ventures or relationships, and at times there can be an unexpected element as Uranus is involved. It all depends on where this transit aspects your own chart, as to what will occur.

 

A regeneration of many things and situations has been happening on many levels in the world and personally, and the nature of Pluto is to break down and rebuild in a stronger way. On a personal level we have an opportunity to break free of situations that have become oppressive or step into new situations we have desired for a long while.

 

This transit will affect the US chart and events can/will be large. As Pluto squares Saturn this will affect our stability, and the opposition to the US Sun in the 7th house we will be dealing with those considered enemies. As Mercury is involved at the end of the month this can involve young people, transportation, communication of all types, weather related circumstances, and finance.

 

Over the years of the Uranus-Pluto square we have seen political upheaval around the globe, the formation of ISIS and terrorist attacks, issues involving Russia and China, mass transit wrecks, political and geographical upheaval, Arab Spring, propaganda, extended US surveillance of citizens, mass shootings, and the entrenchment and control of major companies in terms of government and power, dictators and the downfall of dictators, and upheaval across the globe.

Mercury, Pluto and Uranus:intense energy ahead

Mercury conjuncts Pluto December 19, then squares Uranus December 20, and this will be an obsessive transit, prone to change and unexpected news.

While this will affect those with cardinal planets (Cancer, Aries, Libra and Capricorn) at 13-17 degrees, this will color the energy for all of us, and in the world.

Mercury-Pluto is intense, and at times can border on obsessive energy. While it is good for getting to the bottom of something, there are times it is hard to let an idea or thought go with this transit. It can be argument prone, or you could try and convince someone of something, or vice versa.  It can be heavy and overly intense energy.

You should use caution while driving or traveling, and my advice is to try and avoid arguments at this time. As Mercury rules the mind and thinking you could change your mind about something or reach an epiphany.

From here Mercury squares Uranus and this is a nervous energy prone to changeability and changes in plans or unexpected news. Impractical ideas can occur, a tendency to jump to conclusions without facts, communication breakdowns (be careful when you hit SEND) mental vacillation, worry, and unexpected situations involving neighbors, friends or co-workers. Endings or a change in thinking can occur.

As this sets off the Uranus-Pluto square events can be large for some.

This transit will play out on the world stage. Mercury rules young people, communication, travel and speech. We could hear about events (in the US) that disrupt security, unexpected events and situations that involve young people or transportation, and it will be a volatile time, yet again. Events will likely play out before the transit is exact.

San Bernardino shooting: the astrology

14 people are dead and 21 wounded following a mass shooting by at an office Christmas party in San Bernardino, Ca at the Inland Regional Center on December 2. The shooters have been identified as a married couple: Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, who left their 6 month old baby with a Grandmother before killing 14 people. They (the shooters)have been killed by police. At the time of this post terrorism has not been ruled out as a motive.

The shooting was reported to start at 11 AM local time and looking at the chart this is clearly a result of the Saturn-Neptune square that is exact in the sky. As I wrote in another blog, as the Saturn-Neptune square falls on Uranus in the US chart we would likely see violence. The moon was in Virgo at 11 AM square  Saturn and opposing Neptune, setting off the powerful Saturn-Neptune square, and making the moon the most significant factor.

Looking at the rest of the chart for the shooting, the ascendant ruler is Aquarius ruled by Uranus and Saturn.  This comes back to Saturn square Neptune and this transit deals with 'religion,' and ideologies. The male shooter had traveled to Saudi Arabia and he reportedly married his wife there.

Jupiter in the 7th house of open enemies shows a younger, foreign born male. The moon falls there as well showing a woman as the second shooter.

Mars falls in the eighth house of death, showing intent and was starting its square to Pluto which is a violent and volatile transit.

These murders were motivated by 'religion,' or ideologies or that which cloaks itself under the guise of religion. The two may have also been unbalanced or depressed.
